Evergreen Logistics Park

Evergreen Logistics Park Comes to Anderson, South Carolina

In June 2022, commercial real estate development company, Hunt Midwest, broke ground on Evergreen Logistics Park in Anderson, South Carolina. The 2 million square-foot park will provide users space from 75,000 to 1 million square-feet in multiple configurations to meet market demands. Evergreen Logistics Park will occupy a 200-acre site at 1105 Scotts Bridge Road.

The first facility will provide 26 dock doors (expandable to 57), 60-foot speed bays at docks, four drive-in doors, more than 20 parking stalls, 77 tractor-trailer parking spots, and a 185-foot-deep truck court. Additional features will include cross-dock configuration with 36-foot clear height, an ESFR sprinkler system, and motion-sensor LED lighting.

Hunt Midwest’s President and CEO, Ora Reynolds, said “the pro-business environment, skilled labor force, interstate accessibility, population growth, and supply chain demand drivers have propelled Hunt Midwest to expand its footprint into Anderson County. Anderson County’s central location on the I-85 corridor with a high concentration of manufacturers makes it ideal for development of new Class A manufacturing and logistics buildings.”

SeamonWhiteside is providing civil engineering services and building design will be provided by LS3P. Evans General Contractors is the contractor overseeing construction. Atlas Surveying’s Greenville office has been subcontracted by Evans to perform surveying services for the project.

Atlas provided hub and tack for column lines and building corners and set finished floor elevation. Fire risers, handicap parking, curb, column lines, building walls with offsets and the culvert near the property’s creek were staked. Topographic surveys were preformed of the creek and the main parking lot entrance.

Hunt Midwest’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate, Michael Bell, says “Anderson County offers immediate access to one of the biggest supply chain and distribution corridors in the U.S.”

“Forthcoming industrial developments like Evergreen Logistics Park are evidence of the continuing growth of logistics in Anderson County-and the demand for our productive citizens who possess a strong work ethic,” said Anderson County Councilman, Brett Sanders. “We’re looking forward to the additional economic development Evergreen Logistics Park will offer in continuing to create opportunities for our great citizens.”
