Waterleaf at Salt Creek - Savannah, Georgia

In July 2022, general contractor LandSouth Construction, LLC, broke ground on the upscale multifamily development, Waterleaf at Salt Creek, in Savannah, Georgia.

Waterleaf at Salt Creek will be a garden-style development comprised of 14 buildings with a mixture of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units as well as carriage houses. Community amenities will include outdoor fire pits, grilling stations, gathering areas, 24-hour fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, clubhouse with game room, leash-free dog park, and dog wash.

Atlas Surveying’s Bluffton office was subcontracted to perform surveying services for two phases of the development’s construction.

Under contract to Eagle Excavation-Atlantic, Atlas will verify control, set temporary benchmarks throughout the site, and staked silt fence, tree protection, finish grade curb, sidewalks, water, sewer, storm, and ponds. As-builts for water, sewer, storm and ponds will be provided.

Under contract to LandSouth Construction, LLC, Atlas will provide hub and tack for two 4-story buildings. LandSouth President and CEO, James Pyle, said “Savannah is a beautiful area that continues to grow and attract new residents. Waterleaf at Salt Creek is scheduled for completion in 2024.
